Mid 2010 Imac

Hey all

I have a some questions concerning my mid 2010 iMac they are as follows

1. Is it possible to hook up a game console i.e. wii u or playstation 3 using a compatible HDMI adapter? please note that machine does not have lightening ports

2. Is it worth increasing the hard drive capacity and ram of this machine i use it also for games, iTunes movies, TV shows and Music, or should i save my money and buy a new one machine later for better ports, graphics etc?

1 - No.

2 - Yes but bear in mind if you upgrade HDD you will lose your warranty. Add plenty of RAM also as you can never really have too much of that.

1. Yes. Get something like Kanex XD and you're good to go.

2. If you gave the money, of course it's better to get a 2012 iMac. Unless it's only for RAM

Thanks for the feedback I will try the Kanex xd and will get a new iMac in the near future
