which one did you buy? If it was me I will not think twice, I will buy from my friend. The 3 years applecare is worth it. I am using a mid2010 MBP pro now and I am very happy with it. I went to check the new MBP2011 at the apple store and I think mine is better. The 320m from Nvidia is better than that Intel stuff in the new MBP. Just buy from your friend and enjoy!!!:D

so im looking into buying a macbook for school in the fall. i see that apple has the student deal going on right now so its 1099$+gift card for the 2011 MBP 13inch or i could buy a refurb 2010 MBP 13inch for 899$ my questions is if the only game i'm going to play is WoW am i really going to notice a difference between the 2?

WoW is abnormally CPU dependant for a modern game, running 1280x800 requires a lot less GPU power than you would expect (my old 128M 8400M Nvidia laptop handled it fine) but in more crowded game areas, particularly cities and such, the Core2Duo crawled. The i5 and Intel will be significantly better than the Core2Duo and Nvidia.
