Mid 2010 MBP 17" Yosemite Airdrop?

i did the clean installation of Yosemite in my MBP17" which is Mid 2010, I tried Airdrop with iphone but its not showing me in iPhone and not in MBP, what should be the problem?

Your MBP is too old to make use of the handoff feature between Yosemite and iOS 8 devices. That is why you don't see your iPhone on your Mac.
