Mid 2011 MBP runs hot, and fan runs loud as f since updating to ML

Pretty much what the title says,
since updating to Mountain Lion my MBP always, no matter the time of day, if it's had time to cool down, where I am running it... always, always always is 20,000 degrees hot. and the fan sounds like a jet engine... life was never this hard when I had Lion

anyone else?

Yep!!

My mid-2009 MacBook Pro is the same, sometimes gets to 104 degrees c!!

I know it will get warm as its ageing but nearly to point of shutting off is a joke.

fan sound???

my macbook pro makes this slight humming (fan?) noise... very faint though... i wonder if it's because of FAN CONTROL which i have set to 3400 rpm...?????
