The whole system works good.
The problem starts once I open photos.
Just to scroll to the next it takes about 5 seconds.
If i click "edit" it takes 15 seconds.
If then I click "crop" add another the 8 seconds.
This did not happened with Sierra.

My MBP is a 2.7 i7 16gb ram with 960gb SSD and 2tb hdd on the cd bay.

I also have about 120k photos there, but Sierra had no problems with that.

Thanks.

How recently did you install High Sierra? Spotlight has to index all your files after the install and the system is expected to run slower while this is happening. It sounds like you have a lot of files, so the indexing will probably take a while.

Also, how much free disk space do you have?

I think dear.leader got it - Spotlight indexing after the upgrade. How long since you've changed to High Sierra?

Mine was slow for a day or so and now it's like it was on Sierra. I'm on a 2010 15" i7 with a 256 SSD. It's still pretty snappy.
