So I've just ordered a new MBA, and will be getting the Pro read for sale in a week or two.
2.9 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, and a 1TB hard drive.

It's in excellent condition and has been well loved. (I haven't told it yet that it's being replaced.)

Are these still selling well? What kind of price range will I be looking at?

Probably about £850. They're still extremely capable machines though the resell value is plummeting. If it's feeling a little long in the tooth then throwing an SSD in there would certainly be an economically viable option.

Thanks. That gives me a starting point. It's not feeling long in the tooth, and performs really well...I just want to go back to the Air.

Hi Alli,

I'm assuming that's a 13'' (without looking at everymac)? I would say anywhere from $700-$800. They seem to be going for around that on eBay and that doesn't seem too outrageous to me. I wouldn't worry about getting anything additional (SSD namely) in order to make it more appealing. You can sell that thing without the hard drive even, they hold their value pretty well.

If you want to burn it, I would say $700 BIN. It should go pretty fast. You may be able to get closer to $800 out of it though.

I hope this helps.

Correct, 13". Thanks. I'm feeling better about it all the time, and of course, it's still covered under Apple Care.

That should help its resale quite a bit, but I have been seeing a lot of posts recently about changing owners and Apple Care. It now (not sure how recently) requires transferring of names instead of just going by the serial which is how I believe it was done in the past.

Not sure if you are unaware of this or not, but wanted to mention it and if you are then it is something to look into.
