Hi!
Just as my title says, unfortunately my macbook pro doesn't recognize any external hard drives. I've tested it with 3 different ones and no dice with any of them. It used to but no longer does. One of the external drives is brand new. It does however recognize a USB stick that I have. Any help?

EDIT -
The external hard drives are recognized in disk utility. They just won't appear in finder, or any of that. I've check the preferences and I have checked the box to show external drives.
