Hi guys, I bought my Macbook pro this June and its been great because I purchased the maxed specs one. However, couple days ago I noticed whenever I play audio with the internal speaker, after I pause the audio my right speaker will make some soft rustle noise, its similar to static noise but quieter, and whenever I unplug my headphone the right speaker will make some extremely high pitched noise, both noise will last like 30 seconds then stop. If I play audio or unplug headphone the noise will happen again.

yesterday I tested the speakers by playing music and I found my left speaker seems fine, the music sounds alright but the music came out of my right speaker sounds different, the volume is lower and the music was with the static noise. Then I realized there's definitely some issues.

I made an appointment with those genius this morning, but they said the only available date is next Friday....
Im posting this here because I'm wondering if anyone have any ideas about what problem this might be and how long does it take to fix such problem? Because I need laptop to work.

Is there any chance that they could replace mine to a new one?

Thanks

Have u checked the speaker balance? Go to System Preferences --> Sound --> Output Tab --> Balance and check if the slider is in the middle. If not bring it to middle.
