Mid 2015 next to 2021 M1 Pro’s

With all the questions about the 15” macs next to the 14.2 and 16, I had to see for myself, so I took this for comparison. I think I’ll still lean on the 16. However I must say in general, for a 7 year old laptop, the design language and build quality still holds up. It’s just the performance, battery life, and inaudible fans I yearn for haha.

I have all three (personal 2012, 2015 15', work 2019 15', and brand new personal 2021 16') and I feel 2012-2015 feel too mushy now. I think 2021 has the best key press feeling -- but this can be personal thing.

Cool photo. Up until this years model, the 2015 15" was my favorite laptop of all time.

Nice pic! I wasn't sure at first about the black keyboard tray, but it's growing on me, especially when I see it in this context.
