Hi there.

I see a good price from a local private seller.

CRUCIAL CT2K32G4SFD8266 - A 64 GB kit for cheap.

I look at the Apple specs for RAM in this model and the only difference is 21333 vs 21300

I contacted Crucial and they claim it is not compatible with my iMac but I do not see why not?

Does anyone have this RAM in installed in a 2020 27" 5K iMac?

Thanks

It's not compatible for the bus Frequency, thats not just a number, is a Frequency managed by a clock and it dictates the speed at which the buses have to work. So, if You put one thats not compatible, it won't work since they won't work synced and your Mac will just beep when You turn it on.

Hi. Thanks for the reply.

That’s strange because the RAM that they (Crucial) guarantees to work is also spec’d the same @ 21300
