MIDI USB keyboard

Hey,

Im buying a MBP next week and since my old midi keyboard is getting old i was thinking of buying a good new USB midi keyboard for creating/editing music on the MBP.

So does anyone here know what to buy and what not to buy? I want to be able to plug n play, not too expensive and it should be compatible with most of todays music editing midi software.

What you need is a MIDI adapter.

By definition, MIDI is a protocol for connecting a musical instrument to a computer. You need a MIDI adapter and software. Check out these listed from Google:

Any midi keyboard will then be usable on your MBP.
