Midnight Blue Leather Case For Iphone 6s Plus

Hi All,

I picked up a midnight blue leather case for iPhone 6s Plus from Apple store today. My question is are these new cases suppose to be finished like this or is this a defect ? I don't want to make a fool of myself by taking the case back to apple store if this is how the new cases are suppose to look like. Please see attached pics.

Actually, my saddle brown leather case for my 6S has a similar pattern to it. Looks like vertical lines running through the back. Not sure if it's a defect of not, but mine seems to be wearing pretty cool looking. Reminds me of a Milky Way chocolate bar.

it came yesterday! I'm going to put it on tonight! it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Purdy!!!!! (well... the skin! haha!) it's black with white polka dots! no pink for me this year! *gasp*

my only disappointment is: with the designer series I didn't realize they don't cut out the apple in the back (I planned to put a PINK apple on it! but hubby thinks that in his opinion it's better that the apple isn't cut out!

as for your case: I see the difference (but I guess I expect that from leather BUT I like the one in the pic you found better!).... if it were me and the pattern on the case bothered me... I'd take it back to the store and exchange it for one that was more solid like the one in the pic! but... keep in mind that probably even the solid one is going to age and fade out (have you seen the pic on here of the brown one that someone has had on their phone for the last year... OMIGOSH it's gorgeous... BUT... it's brown! I, personally wouldn't like my blue case aging like that!)

I'm thinking of taking the case back and exchange it .. I had olive brown on my space grey 6+ and to date it is still in good condition .. The only problem is you cant see the case without opening the packaging .. If the replacement turns out to be similar I might just use the product red case I bought last year which is still unopened

well.... you could open it right outside the store... and if you don't like it... take it right back in rather than going all the way home and having to make yet another trip to the store!
