iPhone 11 Pro Midnight Green or other? Why?

Lol yeah - it’s this understated military green I love. I also generally like camera gear in that color. I think it just puts the crown on Apple’s new function over form approach for the Pro line. Very, very good choice. I would have waited for however long it takes to get that color but was lucky enough to get it on launch day.

Bingo! I liked it a lot when it was unveiled at the keynote - but didn't know why.

I couldn't put my finger on it until now: The matte green reminds me of WW2 army/airforce gear! We had a ton of it around the house when I was a kid.

Add a saddle leather case and you get this truly nostalgic and evocative (to me at least) color combination:

I may need to reconsider skipping this year's iPhone 🙂

I like the midnight green. Reminds me of my Barbour coat. But ordered Space Gray. (And a Forest Green leather case!😉)
 
I really wanted to get the midnight green pro, just for a change, but just don't like the colour. I wish you could get the pro in more colours like the 11, would love any of the red, yellow, purple or green.

lower picture are fingerprints
upper picture is inconclusive, i'm pretty certain it's the reflection of a highlight though. That room has very very bright spotlights, as can be seen in other videos.

In general its just very very unlikely that someone would find scratches at this event. This devices have been brand new at the point of presentation and I'm pretty certain these things wouldnt scratch up in a quick pocket test. If that was the case, the return rates of these new green iPhones will skyrocket, no way that would pass apples QA.

There has been spottings of dirt getting easily caught in between the cameras though.

I agree with you and hopefully that’s the case, as I’ve pre-ordered a Midnight Green 11 Pro. However, just think about the release of the black iPhone 5! That thing was hideous in terms of coating. I returned it right away for a silver one. The black one was basically painted over LOL

Yeah, me too. IF thats the case, that would be very bad, since I´m on a trip during the return period. Can I return/exchange it in any Apple Store worldwide, just in case?
 
I’m getting green because it’s different than what I’ve had before, and I like it so far (we’ll see when it arrives). If the new Pro Max color was that new lavender or sea foam green color for the 11, I’d be out and go back to Space Gray: I just don’t like pastel colors.

If you don’t like green, get another color. Truly, very few people care that you have the new iPhone. Other iPhone users don’t give me a second glance when I have a new iPhone, and the Android users that do care think I’m an idiot for getting an iPhone. I’m low key about it at work because of the vocal “you’re stupid for spending that much money on a phone” crowd.

I get the color I like because I rarely use a case, and I enjoy the look and feel of the device: the color is part of my enjoyment, and I’d hate to cringe every time I look at my phone.

Yes, you can if they’re in stock. Always return for a full refund though and buy a new one. When you exchange, you can’t return it anymore.

silver because I figured it would be the least purchased and best chance on getting on release day. Plus I went with silver on my current iPhone and really liked it
 
I did get the midnight green but on a phone it doesn't matter as much to me because I always just put a case on it. Back when my iPad bezel colors were based on my color choice the decision was much harder.

Were you trying for the Max or regular? I found the app didn’t need to refresh. It seemed to be updating live on its own and it let me in. I was very slow and pokey filling in my credit card information and double checking everything. I wanted an unlocked one paid in full, so that took another minute to figure out how to get that option because the system kept auto pushing me to AT&T options. And still I managed to get my green 256 Pro with a confirmation email time stamped at 8:07. My husband had no trouble getting his green Pro Max. I wonder why you and others got thrown back so fast.
 
I think the green is disgusting and if you had asked me what color I'd want a phone to be, green would probably be dead last, or very close to it.

Such a bizarre choice by Apple, you have the standard metals/industrial colors - gold/silver/black, and then...green? One is not like the others.

Happy for the people who have been pining for a green phone, but I haven't seen much pining for it here until it came out last week. Makes me wonder how many people are buying it just because they think people care what phone they have and need to be seen with the latest.

I went with the midnight green. I've stuck with the white/silver option of the phone for quite a long time. I figured I'd go for a little change. The green isn't too in your face or anything so I figured I'd try it out.

I wasn't pining for green but saw the dark green and thought it looked nice. It can be as simple as that.

I’m digging the green and the white...I decided not to pre-order, just don’t want to have to do the return dance if I don’t like the color...I currently still have the X 256gb still so I want to see them in person before making a decision...and it will be cool to test drive IOS 13

Interesting! it was for a regular 11 Pro
