Midnight Launch?

Anyone hear of a place doing a midnight launch for the iPhone on the 25th? I'm really hoping someone will here in SoCal. I have to fly out of state at 6 in the morning on the 24th..need a midnight launch so I can take the phone with me.

Nope, I haven't heard of a midnight launch on the 24th at all in my area. BB claimed they may if they have enough interest in doing one.

Don't you have to activate the phone via Apple before you can use it? I imagine regardless of how early you are able to buy an iPhone 4, you won't be able to use it until everyone else can.

Which is fine cause I will take my laptop with me and activate it once we can. I just want to make sure I have it that day.

Then preorder the phone for pickup in the location you will be. Pick it up at the local Apple store when you get there.

You can probably go anywhere and buy it during the day and on the 24th, but don't open the box till midnight that night.

No Apple Store in Little Rock Arkansas. Would an AT&T store have issues activating a phonenback there but with a California phone number?

Nope, you can activate an AT&T phone anywhere in the country. You should be fine to do so in an AT&T store where you will be.
