I am kind of interested in whats going on on the left side, looks like it might be some blending of media, but I can't really tell. It would be nice to get a high res version of it to see all the detail you put into it.

I prefer the colour one, although it looks like you've washed out the colours a bit. Perhaps accentuating the yellow might look a bit better? Have him stand out against the background? Just a friendly suggestion.

I like both though, they look great.
