I'm having a problem with my Mighty Mouse. The scroll bar willl only work in one direction now, ( scroll down). I've seen posts where people talk about having to clean the mouse periodically to keep it working, but no one describes HOW to clean it. Can someone help a relative noob out?

Okay buddy heres what you do (first let me suggest getting a new mouse)

1) use tissue and water and rub down the ball
2) then wet the tissue and turn mouse upside down and push it forward and back
3)if that doesn't work read what the other people have to say
4) if that still doesn't work, buy a new mouse

Thanks. I agree that I'm not in love with the MM, but when it works, it's....serviceable. And having bought two new Macs in the past 6 months, I'm starting to think about not spending anymore money on comps for a few months.

Or see here for Apple's take on it.

Edit: never mind; above post has same link.

I love the opening quote:
Although your Mighty Mouse never needs to be fed or watered, you may occasionally find that you need to clean it.
