Mighty Mouse scroll wheel driving me up the wall!

Anyone know if there is a way to get my scroll wheel to work properly again? It scrolls up fine but is inconsistent scrolling down. I think it is somehow related to moisture build-up from the finger but it has worked fine for months up until here recently. Can one clen this thing or something?

i took a rag of alchohol turned the mouse upside down and rubbed it into the rag while pressing down on the ball worked great
