I want to migrate my music to another computer, but I'm afraid of losing what I have checked and unchecked in "music" library.

So let me explain a little more, not a created playlist or smart playlist. If you were to go through every single song you have and uncheck what you don't listen to this is the "master list" I'm referring to.

I have seen how to transfer playlist, but I can't seem to find any info on the list I'm referring to.

Thanks

I tried that a while ago and I messed all my music up.

if you move the entire iTunes folder to the new machine, you can't go wrong.

between two Macs, the easiest way would be this:

connect the two Macs with a firewire cable, boot the source Mac in
Target Disk Mode and drag the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music folder) from <MacintoshHD>/users/<yourname>/music on the source to <MacintoshHD>/users/<yourname>/music on the target, replacing the iTunes folder in place there.

launching iTunes on the new Mac should then take you to the exact same library you were used to from your old computer.
