Migration Asis. Troubles

Well this isn't a problem but its annoying me when I migrated from my iBook to my iMac it only copied the new apps to the Application folder liike its suppose to but when I select something control click and Hit "Open with" It shows the apps twice is this a problem can the extra apps somehow be deleted?

Weird, can you post a screen shot? I'd start by repairing permissions, too. 🙂

Ok, I reapaired permisions and nothing happened these apps arent appearing in my apps folder so are they even doing anything by being there?

Bugger. Okay, try rebuilding your LaunchServices database. Good luck. 🙂

Excellent. Usually repairing permissions works for this plus the rebuild can be intimidating so I'm glad it's all good now. 🙂
