Hoping to "clone" my fully up-to-date 2011 (el Capitan) MBP to a nice new iMac using the Migration Assistant utility. I'm hearing from Adobe that all might not go well, and that I might have to bunch of re-installing of ID, PS, LR, IC, DW . . . etc to do.

Any experience out there with this? I don't trust the well-intentioned but language-challenged folks on Adobe Help chat.

Deregister your current computer, reinstall CC on your new computer and select the apps you want installed. That worked perfectly for me.

As it turns out, no problem at all with CC and my applications. It took ten hours and two tries to migrate my MBP to the new iMac, but in the end all is well.
