Hi all,

I recently purchased a new SSD and wanted a clean mountain lion install. I had previously been running 10.6.8 on my old boot drive. I installed mountain lion on the clean SSD, and used migration assistant to move over my old user account.

I walked away and came back to the computer rebooted with my account name on the screen and asking for my password. The problem is that my old user password is not working, and I have no idea why. I am now locked out of my mac!

Any ideas?

edit: Hard restarted, working now, bizarre

problem easy solved. Just put in your SL disc, boot from that. And then in the utilities option go to the password section and delete/change the password on your account
