Just wondering what the best way for doing a migration from one RAID boot volume to another.
Currently: MP is booting from a RAID 1 mirror device (tho only using one disk as one disk has failed).
Aim: To boot from 2 new drives in a RAID 0.
I believe migration assistant cannot be used to migrate from a RAID volume. Is this correct?
If it can't I was thinking I would create the new RAID 0 device, do a tar copy of the current volume to the new one, then bless the drive. Has anyone tried this? Does it work, or is there something else I should do?
