Migration vs Fresh start

Have had my MacMini M1 since release but have a new Mini ordered and on the way. Should I migrate old box to new OR just put in my appleId and start clean/fresh. Pros/Cons/recommended approach?

I migrate mine, a lot less reinstalling apps etc. But you do you.

Migrate. You don't get much benefit at all from installing fresh, like you do with Windows.

M1 isn't "that far back".

Do a standard migration (using a backup drive and setup assistant) THE VERY FIRST TIME you boot the new Mac...

I should have clarified, the M1 was a migration from the Mac i had prior... but regardless it sounds like the general advice is to just migrate.
