Well, it's down to 202k now. The 10 mil had to have been a joke.

Maybe MS is trying to get it so it doesn't wind up on the net... which would be more bad PR for them.

Now that's a really interesting thought...but what could be in there that they don't want public? And what's keeping Mike Rowe from publishing stuff from the copy he's keeping?

f*** the memories. take a picture of you holding the book and sell the other one. 400,000 grand. buy yourself a car, and some other stuff and put the rest in the stock markey and this guy will be set before he gets out of high school. thats what he should of asked for, instead of a lousy xbox he should have asked for stock options.

I am surprised that M$ would not require nondisclosure of the terms of the agreement. Pretty standard in cases like this.

Not that I am a fan of M$, I hope the kid gets nothing in the end. And I hope that M$ gives nothing to thieves like this.

The kid had my support initially. I even sent a note to M$. I have since followed up with an apology . since for this kid it was always about the money. Despite what he has said.

If it weren't about the money he could have put a "fair" Buy It Now price. I guess the saving grace is that the kid is in canada. i never have to worry about him running for US office.

This is getting strange. When I last looked ($200k+) the bidders all seemed to have positive feedback.
