Ordered for my 42 mm sport .
Just wondering if anyone else used this type and what the think?
Name brand is geotel.

Currently, all the Amazon reviews are from people who got freebies from the company. Despite people claiming to be unbiased, these sort of reviews are nearly always 5 star ones, no matter what the product is. Until real reviews come out, I generally stay away from getting these sort of products-- I've been burnt before by biased reviewers. I wish Amazon would not allow this sort of thing or at least let me filter out freebie reviews.

Although I have not ordered one, someone else posted about the Riega brand of the Milanese loop, and this did seem to get good, legitimate reviews on Amazon.

I'll probably end up saving for the Apple version, myself.

I am using the Riega and it is top-notch. I bought a black one to go with my space gray watch. It looks incredibly nice and feels wonderful. The only complaint I have is that occasionally the band will slip a little and become looser as I'm wearing it. But it doesn't bother me enough to dock it a star in my rating especially considering the price.

There is a reason the Riega band is the top-rated Milanese loop. Get it, save the money you'd spend on the Apple band, and you won't be disappointed.

How's the magnet on this.

I purchased a MoKo milanese loop and the magnet isn't that strong. Well let me say its not as strong as Apple's Milanese loop band. I was at the apple store the other day and I compared my milanese loop with apple's and of course Apple's 150 band had a much better magnet.

I find myself needing to readjust the band through out the day, do you find any need to do any adjustment on the Riega?

Do you know how the Riega compares to apple's milanese loop?

I can't directly compare because I only tried Apple's in-store and haven't used it for an extended period of time. The magnet feels fairly strong but I have to adjust the Riega occasionally. Again, it's not enough for me to be bothered, but I'm not sure about how it compares to Apple's in day-to-day usage.

Have a picture of the black band on the space gray watch? I'm thinking of picking one up. Thanks.

I've got the same thing - a black Riega Milanese Loop on my 42mm Space Gray Sport. I'm quite pleased with it. It's perhaps 75-80% the quality of an Apple band, for 20% of the price. If Apple made a official black Milanese Loop, I'd be very tempted to get one, just to have the full effect, but this fills in pretty well.

I wished they did.

I'm more and more dissatisfied with my MoKo black milanese loop. The magnet slips too much and I'm constantly adjusting. I've all but given up wearing it.

The Riega seems to hold up better and not loosen as much as the MoKo from what I'm hearing. After about a week with it, I'm more than pleased. Can't beat it for the price.

Not for nothing but the amazon retailer from whom I purchased the Moko band reached out to me. I posted a 2 star review of the band, stating while I liked the fit and finish of the band but I was disappointed in the lax magnet. They reached stating that it may be a defective magnet. I might be able to get this replaced, so hopefully this will work itself out. Either way, I'm impressed that the retailer reached out to me in the first place.

I just received my Moko milanese loop yesterday and the magnet is very strong. Almost annoyingly strong when trying to adjust the strap. So maflynn, maybe yours is defective.

Agreed. Got mine a few days ago. Magnet is more than powerful enough.

That's good to know, I'm waiting to hear back, hopefully it will get replaced.

I picked up the Riega as well in Black. It's very well made for the price. I'm happy with it so far.

I love my Riega. Got it about a week ago and it has quickly become my favorite band (I have 10, 8 sport bands, the Milanese and a link bracelet).

Did you ever hear anything from the seller about the Moko milanese band? More that curious, as mine will be delivered today.

Yes, the retailer and I have traded email a number of time. My replacement is due to arrive next week

I've had the black Riega for about a week and am really happy with it, it's one of my favorite bands. I love the way it looks with the rose gold and the magnet is super strong :)
