I dropped a glass of milk on my MacBook Pro yesterday, I was so sad.

The milk landed all around, keyboard, trackpad, screen. I dried it all with a towel and it works perfectly...
But, the screen is completely ruined. It is smudgy and sticky, and blurry with milk. I think using a towel is the worst thing I could have done...

What can I use to cleanse my screen of this uncomfortable smudge?

    I feel terrible.

Already tried that, it's still turned off and I'm waiting...

I was just wondering if I can do anything meanwhile to rid the screen of the sticky dried milk.

    Milk.... Apple's one true weakness.

Have you tried those alcohol screen wipes? they work wonders.

The first spill I worked on was 30 years ago so I've worked on a few. Milk is bad. I think you'd best go to an authorized repair center. If you are really good at taking things apart and reassembling them you could give it a whirl, but otherwise take it in.
