Mindcraft game on a MacBook Air

so I know nothing about games, so I need some help. My mom wants to get my nephew a new laptop and she's a Mac person and so am I. My nephew plays Mindcraft a lot, will that play ok on a MacBook Air?

I've played minecraft on my air's since 2012. It runs decently on the air's processor, not highest settings and draw distances, but it plays well enough to be fun.

You can always get a Cooler Master from Amazon to cool the Air. Works great.

get the 2015 model, it has the best graphics which will benefit minecraft
