Wouldn't worry about the wrong photo - just shows a lack of e-sale QC and Mac knowledge.

As for price, considering it's an old stock rev.A HDD which until recently sold on the refurb UK Apple Store for about the same price, I wouldn't get too excited.

    Did you buy it?

    Hi there,

I was just wondering if you bought it eventually?

    Sounds quite dodgy....

    Thanks!

I have just raised a dispute with Paypal today after purchasing a TV. Goods haven't turned up and no replies to emails.

    mindinbox scam

I too was sucked into the cheap prices, ordered ipod touch never arrived,no reply to e mail and now about to put claim through pay pal.He did eventually reply in poor english and asked me to remove the dispute! even though I have no goods.Dont send money to this person paypal or otherwise is my advice.Sorry to hear you going through the same.I am annoyed with myself too as usually I am very careful.

    Another mindinbox scamee

I also fell for the mindinbox scam and also kicking myself as I should know better.
    Think I had my headinsand:eek:
The site was very convincing though and combined with PayPal you start building a false sense of security. I wonder how many people where sucked in. How are you progressing with getting you money back via PayPal?
Mine is still in the status of Unsettled on PayPal, but no cancel option…

    Jeez, ever heard of scams?

    google:
too good to be true site:forums.macrumors.com

If it's too good to be true, then it's a scam.

You will definitely get your money back. PayPal is very legit especially with payments like this. They can just hold the money to ensure buyer gets item. However, the seller may just be able to send you product instead of giving money back.

    Good luck.
