Hi, I was wondering if Minecraft 1.7 is possible on PowerPC? I know it's been asked many times, but this site called soylatte I think has something where you can get Java 7? I also found a link to a Java 6 beta release for PowerPC Tiger, but I'm running Leopard and it won't let me install it. Could you give me any tips? Is there a way to install Tiger apps on Leopard?

Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated! :)

By the way, I apologize if this is the wrong forum, I'm new here and wasn't quite sure which one to put it on

You're in the right forum. :)
There is a Minecraft launcher for PPC, you're in luck!

There are also numerous youtube videos on how to get it running on PPC.
    Good luck!

Thanks, I know about the launcher, but I was wondering about the new Minecraft launcher for 1.7... The one for PPC is an outdated version.
    Thanks for the fast reply!

I don't know much about java and minecraft, but Java 6 could be hacked to install on PPC I believe, I don't think 7 though. I think Tiger apps will always run on Leopard, unless they say they are specifically for Tiger, which does happen. I can't seem to find anything on Minecraft 1.7 for PPC. Sorry, but maybe someone else can chime in?
