As most know Ming Chi KUO has departed the firm he worked for. Was this
Intentional or pressure from Apple???

He was the most accurate leaker on the planet and was good at what he did
Big loss for the tech community and Apple in that he was creating a market
Based on excitement

Not really a sudden departure. The media reports he took a job in Mainland China with TF Securities.

Makes sense as China has such a booming tech industry with AI and EV firms. More than half of the world's largest EV firms are there.

Most tech companies in history are in the spotlight for about 10 years before they start to fade. Look at Microsoft, Dell, Blackberry, etc. Apple is now 10 years old with the iPhone and it's smart to focus your efforts in the east.

I doubt after all these years Apple all of a sudden put pressure on him from preventing any type of leaks or releasing information. What will be interesting, is to see how specific (And accurate) iPhone leaks become now that he is no longer a main source for rumors and predictions.
