That's strange - I ordered my iPad Mini 5 (256GB silver, wifi) online on the Apple Store yesterday, and Apple listed the delivery date as between April 11-15.
Best Buy says friday on the online page but i just put in an order and it says “Pickup available on Release Date: Tue, March 26”

When it first went on sale, the delivery date was this Friday. It has since extended out.
If they're in the store Friday, I'll pick one up and cancel my online order. I have three books that I want to read on the new iPad and I haven't ordered them yet. Though I suppose I could order it for my current Mini.
This has been annoying. I have gotten all sorts of different dates for in store availability. T-mobile says tomorrow, but if you order online, the t-mobile website says it is on back order. Best Buy website mentions pick-up available Friday.

UPS Tracking is convinced that my iPad Mini 5 will be here tomorrow, Wednesday the 27th. It's currently showing as in Anchorage. The Apple order page also now shows 3/27 delivery. When I initially ordered shortly after they were announced, Apple said it would be here 3/29-4/2. All that to say...it might not hurt to check for in-store availability tomorrow.
Not pointing the finger or anything. I was in 2 different stores by chance and they both told me Friday. But you can be right. Usually, Apple doesn't undermine the person who ordered online by putting it in store before the first delivery date. But now you read people say they may get their package on Wednesday so you never know. Apple should have announced the in-store date in their press release really.Well, I guess this store manager's calendar was wrong then.
No worries, rough day yesterday so I did not mean to sound defensive. And you could be right too: the store leader told me Friday this morning so even the people at this store are tripped up.
So I’ll check before I leave for work tomorrow and if it’s Friday that’s fine.
