Hey guy,

Recently I bought a mini car windshield for my iPhone 5, because I need it while I'm traveling on the road (I have no sense of direction lol). It's actually pretty good. It's kind of hard to take off the windshield but really, so you need to take it off? It doesn't rock or fall off when you're driving so I think it's pretty good. Plus, there's a way you can put your regular gps device inside the mount too.
It comes with two sticky pads to put on the windshield.

Do you have a standard OEM CD player in your car?

Yea. My car isn't setup for something like that so this one I have now will do fine. Plus why pay $24.95+ tax for something that just holds your iPhone in place, when you can get one significantly cheaper for $5 or less???

This one seems to have all the buzz around it. Uses the CD drive as the holder. I love that concept.

*edit: it's $20 & I'm not affiliated with the company I've just seen a ton of people talking about how awesome they are. And I know the ones you're speaking of for $5 on Amazon. Those work great too, but they are super duper cheaply built.

I'm a bit weary of inserting something into my CD drive and using it as a cantilever essentially. I feel like that's a recipe to break the CD drive. On the other hand, I can't remember the last time I used the CD drive...
