Hey guys.

So I have a June09 Macbook Pro 13" and a MiniDisplay to HDMI.

I was wondering, is there anyway to use my Macbooks display as a screen?

I plan to be doing a lot of traveling and want to take my PS3 with me, but I won't have a reliable TV. I wanted to know if there was anyway I could plug my PS3 into my laptop and use that somehow.

Thanks in advance guy.

You could get a TV tuner with HD input. I have an EyeTV Hybrid, and it has a low lag mode specifically for things like game systems. Anything that does encoding before displaying the picture will add a lot of lag (possibly 1/2 second or more, making games unplayable). I can't remember if the EyeTV has composite video in, but if it does that's what you would use.

eyetv has coax in. I believe you can get coax to composite adapters though.
