I have a, probably VERY stupid question.. I'm really new to the Mac stuff so bear with me ok? 😉

Will the mini Displayport probably stay on the next MacBook Pro?

Yes, it will stay, as it is license free and is quite a good catch.

Yep, it'll stay. A lot of manufacturers are moving to the displayport standard, so it's probably here to stay for a while.
