Hi,

I'm connecting my Mid 09 Macbook Pro to a HDTV i got, with a mini displayport to HDMI converter i got..

While running on OS X, I got no problems with audio since i just plug in an audio jack onto my macbook.. But now that I'm running windows 7 via bootcamp, the audio doesn't work anymore (with audio jack)..

Any idea/ solutions or workarounds for this apart from buying an audio-enabled Minidisplayport to HDMI converter?

Help much appreciated!

In another note, plugging in my earphones while the display is on still works fine though.. Just wanna play the sound on the TV itself..

The only way that would work would be to take audio out of the audio port. Which is not working for you. Macs don't output audio over the Mini-displayport: it's nothing to do with the adaptor.
