I'm trying to connect my macbook to my tv via hdmi. There seems to be multiple mini dvi male ports. Which is the exact male end that I need? It's the new macbook.

you need a mini display port to hdmi.. just go to the apple store or best buy and ask someone for it..

You might also check monoprice.com. Excellent source for reasonably priced cables and adapters. I have no problems using their stuff to connect my mini to my tv.
