Mini DP Adapter on Thunderbolt???

Hey guys, got a macbook pro i7, i need to get a mini DP to HDMI connector to hook up to my LCD, but in a few months i'll probably upgrade to the new macbook pro, will this adapter work on the new thunderbolt plug?

Yep, it will work exactly the same way

Yes. I'm pretty sure it's backwards compatible. All preexisting mini DP cables will work with it.
