Mini DV Camcorder and iChat

I'm going to purchase a miniDV camcorder soon and was wondering if I would be able to use it with iChat and video chat with someone else who had a camcorder or iSight camera.

I think I'm going to get a Panasonic nv-gs150. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me if this camera would work well with iChat.
