Mini DVD stuck in iMac - HELP

So my genius wife and her genius sister decided to put a mini-dvd into the optical drive of my iMac while I was gone. (insert expletive here).

I know it isn't good - but does anyone know what I'm looking at here in terms of a fix and cost???

remove drive, dissemble it, remove disk - cost in $ 0 - cost in time ?

uhhh...yea, I have no idea how to do that and would hate risking warranty. It doesn't seem like an easy process...

that is for a Mac Mini - not an iMac.
