Whenever i have my mac book running on battery only, my mini dvi to AVG connector won't work. Any thoughts?

PS. I have a white mac book.
 
If you're using an external monitor in closed clamshell mode then yes you're right. It won't work on battery. You have to plug it in. -GDF
