Mini-DVI MacBook + 24inch LED display?

Searching these forums and the web I found many variations of DVI and displayports, both mini and regular, but nothing that would actually fit.

Is there an adapter for this?

This mess with the connectors is an utter embarrassment for the entire computer industry. We don't need new connectors, we need a single world-wide standard that has enough legs to last for many iterations of backward compatibility.

I don't understand. You say that you have mini-DVI output on your MacBook and you want to put through to VGA or DVI right?

Then use This or This. If that's too much money, search for a better price for a reputable similar product.

Wait.. you're talking the Cinema Display and going from Mini DisplayPort to Mini-DVI. Nevermind.
