mini-DVI vs DVI

Hi all.

If some of you remember, the "leaked" case picture of the MacBook Pro, with the chiclet key cutouts, showed what seemed to be a mini-DVI port. Now, in the event that this happens, does this mean our macBook Pros will only support a video out of up to 1920x1200? Or will it, because of the graphics card, still support up to 2560x1600? Video out is quite an important thing for me, and I would like to know whether this poses any cause for concern for our video out capabilities.😕

Meaning Mini DVI with single link only can power up 1920 x 1200 and full dual-link DVI can power up to 2560 x 1600
