Will the mini-LED iPad Pro have thinner bezels? Does mini-LED help with making bezels thinner?

Do we need thinner bezels? Gotta put your thumbs somewhere.
I wonder if iPads could just be programmed to not detect touches around the edges of the screen. So even if it was bezel free, if you held the iPad by the screen, you wouldn't need to be activating anything by touch if it's designed to ignore touches in those areas.

They already do this to a certain extent (I think introduced on the first iPad mini which was the first model to have slim bezels at the sides) though software solutions are never 100%.

Probably it could by a mm or so, which makes more of a difference than you would think. Very noticeable. Depends though on if there is a new form factor design or not. I mean, for the Pros, this is an amazing design still. Take these guys out of their cases and they are super svelte, futuristic looking slabs of glass and metal. All they need to do is have a display on both sides and fold in 3rds or something to fully achieve a Sci-fi Westworldy vision.
