Mini Superdrive issue

After about three Cd uploads it acts up. It will start to get track names then stops. If I re-start the Mini it will work again for another three Cd's or so.

Thoughts on the problem?
 
Software - reinstall the OS? Does it happen under another user?

Hardware - Replace the drive? Go to an external drive?
