For the past two days I have been going crazy trying to find out why my new Mini (1.5, 1GB) refused to go into sleep mode. Whenever it started to enter sleep mode it would immediately re-awaken as if the keyboard or mouse was bumped.

It turned out to be a problem with my Sandisk Imagemate 8 in 1 card reader. Whenever the card reader is in it's cradle (see attached pic) it will not let the Mini go into sleep mode. However, if you pull the card reader out of the cradle (leave the cradle usb cable attached to the Mini) the Mini WILL go to sleep.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, or if it is even a problem for other users, but I know it was really aggravating me! I'm a new covert from Windoze in case you couldn't tell :)

ADK, did you install any of the software that came w/the card reader? I just plugged mine in and started using it.
