Gotta say, I do not like that. The tiny little glyphs get completely swallowed up in the icons. I think something like this would be better:

I just noticed that the phone and messages icons are exactly the same. Oops.

I like how inconsistent they are. Some are flat, some are flat and have photos, and the camera is just a photo of a lens.

This is my favourite one of all I have seen so far.

The colours are just so much better than the horrible colours in iOS 7 as it stands.

They aren't a deal breaker by any means but they remind me of this.

LOL. So true. So sad. The iOS 7 icon color palette is "My Little Pony" without the subtlety.

One thing I will say for those icons is that they've convinced me that Apple actually could have done worse with theirs.

That is just freakin' terrible. I'm so glad that there are people out there who know what they're doing. That looks like a cheap Cydia theme more than the cultivation of a team of people dedicated to new OS UI/X paradigms.

I wasn't "thrilled" with the icons in iOS 7 but the top two offerings in this thread make it look a whole lot better. 😀
