Hey all,

I'm perplexed. How does one keep apps from opening maximized when restarting or logging back on? I've looked in the settings at can't seem to find the setting so I'm beginning to think one can't.

I don't mind the apps reopening I just hate a screen full of windows that I then have to minimize to the dock.

Thanks
David

Have you unchecked the option to restore apps/windows at next boot, in the shutdown/restart dialogue?

Also, have you installed 10.7.4?

I don't think you can, but you can select the one app you want left open then hit command-option-h (all three at once) and that will hide all but the active window/app.
