    Hi,

I have recently moved into a new house, and I am using a "sunroom" as my office. Basically the one wall is just a huge glass sliding door out to the backyard and there is another big window on one of the other walls. There is no heating in this room as of now, and I'm wondering if the temperature at night-time can drop to dangerous levels for my computer? How low does the temperature have to be to cause problems for computers? I don't have a thermometer, but my guess is that its drops down to about 7-12 degrees celcius there at night. I have a 27" iMac in there. Thanks for any help.

That is an okay temperature, I had my room below 4° C and my iMac is still working.
My brother's house had temperatures well below zero during winter due to improper shielding and the Macs he uses there are still working.

    Apple says:

It'll probably run BETTER at those temperatures.
