Doesn't it annoy you guys whenever your using the App Store on your iPhone to install an app and you immediately get kicked back to the home screen once you've clicked "Install"?

I don't understand why I would want just sit and watch the app get downloaded/installed on my home screen after I just clicked install. Why can't they let me be and leave me in the App Store right after I install an app so I can continue to browse; therefore, wasting time while waiting for the app to install.

It's mainly annoying though because if you're trying to install multiple apps, as soon as you install one, you get kicked back to the home screen, then you have to tap App Store and wait for it to load all over again.

I was just curious to see if anyone else was going through this agony and the fact that Apple will probably read this thread and fix it for me. I'm lucky like that.

I hate that, too. Especially since the App Store crashes like every other time I load it.

When you arrange your app icons into pages just the way you like, and then update one of the apps, I had the feeling that it was moving the app to a new position, even to another page. That would be highly annoying.

So I paid more attention when I did my next update, and I learned what's really going on: When it starts to update an app, it puts the app's icon in the next available position, which for me is at the bottom of Page 1. But once it's been updated, it leaves the updated version back where you had it.

I can deal with going back on the home screen for installing a new app since I don't install multiple new apps often.

However, I would like the "Update All" button back for updating multiple apps.

I would like the option to add to an install queue and then do all the updates/new app installs at once rather than having to go back into the app each time.

Think of the poor staff at TouchArcade. They must spend 24 hours a day downloading new apps and app updates (with every one popping back to the home screen) so they can review them all for us!
