Minor issue

The dumb cleaning ladies at my house wiped a cloth dampened with some dust remover over the top of my MBP and it looked all smeared when shone in the light. I took a tissue, wiped the top, and everything looked ship shape. Will the cleaning liqudi have any long term effects on the casing?

Most likely no. Most household cleaning fluids evaporate pretty quickly. What did they use?
